GUEST INSTRUCTORS

The Ross and Cromarty tartan is a unique tartan which was created especially for the pipe band. 2015 marked a decade since the tartan was first produced, and showcased at the arrival of the Queen Mary 2 in Invergordon.

Louise comes from Glasgow and currently plays with the current British Pipe Band Champions, Inveraray and District. Shenplayed for Shotts and Dykehead Pipe Band from 2009 to 2015, where she won two world drumming championships and many other major championships with the band.

As well as teaching many local bands and others all over Scotland, Louise is a drumming instructor at Dollar Academy Pipe Band, the current Juvenile World Champions.

Drumming has taken Louise to many different places in and outwith Scotland, such as New York, Switzerland and Denmark, to do a mix of judging, teaching and performing. Louise was also a member and drum corporal of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland for many years.
